Our ministry exists to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ among the youth (6th-12th grade) of CBC and by partnering with parents as they endeavor to lead their children spiritually.

During The Gathering, we share a meal together, play games together, worship God together, and study the Bible together with a focus on life application.

Zach Benton
Associate Pastor
Zach was born and raised in Stuttgart, Arkansas (the rice and duck capital of the world). He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Central Arkansas and a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. In 2013, Zach married the love of his life, Kari, and together, Zach and Kari have two children—Ruth and Jude. Since 2020, Zach has served as our associate pastor of youth and young adults, but he has been involved in youth and college ministry for well over a decade. Zach is passionate about helping students grow in and own their faith. One of his favorite Bible verses is Psalm 78:4 (NET): “We will tell the next generation about the Lord’s praiseworthy acts, about his strength and the amazing things he has done.”
