Community Kids
We seek to partner with parents while helping children develop a heart for God and grow in their knowledge of God and His Word. Our amazing leaders would love to meet with you and show you where your child fits in:
Nursery and Toddler care
9 - 12 PM
Loving caregivers provide a safe and nurturing environment for the youngest ones.
Children from newborn to age 3.
Children's Church
9 - 10:15 AM
Younger children are provided the opportunity to worship God through story and song.
Preschool ages 3 and 4 go directly to Children's Church at 9 AM.
Elementary Grades K - 2 children are dismissed from the worship service for Children's Church just before the sermon.
Elementary students Grades 3 - 5 worship in the service with their families.
Community Kids
10:45 - 12 PM
During Community Group, kids will actively engage with peers and Community Group leaders to explore the Bible and grow in grace.
Small group learning environments for children 3 years old - Grade 5.
Age 3 - Pre-Kindergarten
Kindergarten - Grade 2

Joy Atchison
Family Ministry Director
JoyAnn Atchison has been involved in Children’s Ministry for over 30 years. She is a graduate of Cairn University in Philadelphia, PA with a degree in education and Bible. Joy and her husband Marshall have two young adult children. She is responsible for the nursery through fifth grade programming and is excited about partnering with parents to raise children who love Jesus. Joy and Marshall relocated from Philadelphia PA to Baton Rouge 2 years ago and are enjoying the warm Southern hospitality and great food!
